The Malta National ‘A’ Team will be holding a special open training session, allowing fans to meet the players ahead of the crucial double header against Luxembourg.
The team will be taking on Luxembourg in two matches over the space of a few days, as Malta looks to make history by securing promotion to League C of the UEFA Nations League for the first time.
The first match, taking place at home at the National Stadium, will be on Thursday 26th March 2026, with kick-off scheduled for 18:00hrs. This will then be followed by a second leg at the Stade de Luxembourg on Tuesday 31st March 2026, also kicking off at 18:00hrs.
Tickets for both the home and the away matches are available through the Malta FA tickets portal.
Prior to that, the Malta FA will be opening one of the National Team’s training sessions to the general public, allowing supporters to get a glimpse into the preparation ahead of such an important match. The session will take place on Monday 23rd March 2026 at 16:00hrs, at the National Football Centre in Ta’ Qali.

This follows the success of recent open training sessions held in previous international windows. Fans will have the opportunity to take a behind-the-scenes look into the high-intensity sessions that the team goes through, while also getting to meet their favourite players up close during a meet and greet.
The public is encouraged to attend and be part of this exciting experience alongside our National Team, as they gear up for the historic clash against Luxembourg.
