Malta FA honours Hamrun Spartans for 2024/25 Premier League title victory

On Sunday, the Malta FA presented Hamrun Spartans FC with a commemorative plate to celebrate their 2024/25 Malta Premier League title victory.

Malta FA President Bjorn Vassallo presented the token to Hamrun Spartans President Joseph Portelli and CEO Marcel Bonnici ahead of the club’s YoHealth Malta Premier match against Valletta FC at the National Stadium in Ta’ Qali. Kampjonat Malta Limited also presented a memento to Hamrun on behalf of member clubs for their historic win.

The occasion also falls just a few days after Hamrun made Maltese football history by becoming the first domestic side to reach the League Phase of a UEFA club competition, qualifying for the UEFA Conference League.

Last May, Hamrun clinched the Malta Premier League title after securing a 1-0 victory over Birkirkara FC in the Final.
