The Malta Women’s National Team stopped by San Anton School in Mgarr on Tuesday for a fun-filled morning meeting young fans.

The event, forming part of the Malta FA’s 125th anniversary celebrations, came ahead of the Women’s National Team crucial promotion-deciding match against Cyprus.

The match will take place on Friday 30th May at 19:00hrs at the National Stadium in Ta’ Qali, with Malta having the chance to seal promotion to League B of the UEFA Women’s Nations League.

During the visit, the members of the team met up with students, while also giving them the opportunity to have a quick kickabout with them.

The players spoke to the young fans, imparting their knowledge about what it takes to make it to the top, helping inspire the next generation of football players.

Additionally, the players took photos and signed autographs with the students, making it a truly memorable day for all involved.

This visit was one of a number of other school visits that the Women’s National Team and the Men’s National Team will undergo throughout the year.
