Malta WNT up one place in FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking

The Malta National Women’s Team has moved up 1 place in the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking which was published on Friday.  Malta now occupies the 86th place and has gained a total of 6.77 points.

These rankings take into consideration all games played since March 24th. 

Malta are in the 37th place in Europe, lying ahead of Bulgaria (90), Montenegro (91), Lithuania (95), Estonia (98), Kazakhstan (99), Faroe Islands (100), Kosovo (102), Moldova (111), Luxembourg (117), Latvia (119), Cyprus (121), Georgia (126), North Macedonia (129), Armenia (142) and Andorra (180).

In the meantime, the first positions in the world rankings are still occupied by USA, Germany, Sweden, England and France.

The next competitive commitment for the national team led by Manuela Tesse is a friendly match against Haiti in Switzerland on July 1st (kick-off 18:00hrs).
