Macri announces 20-player squad for upcoming Malta U17 double-header friendlies against Luxembourg

Malta Under-17 National Team Head Coach Francesco Macri has named a 20-player squad for the upcoming friendlies against Luxembourg.

The team will be taking on Luxembourg in two away international friendlies away at the Medernach Stadium.

The first encounter will take place on Tuesday 17th February 2026, kicking off at 15:30hrs. This will then be followed by another international friendly on Thursday 19th February 2026, with kick-off at 11:00hrs.

The two matches will allow the team to gain further international experience as they prepare themselves for the upcoming UEFA European U17 Championship Qualifiers. Malta was drawn in group B2 of the Second Round, together with Bulgaria, Lithuania and Azerbaijan.

The 20-player squad selected by Coach Macri is as follows:
