The Malta Football Association has appointed Indrek Palm as Head Coach of the Malta National Beach Soccer Team on a two-year contract.

Palm brings extensive experience and a deep knowledge of the game, aligning perfectly with the Malta FA’s strategy for beach soccer.

As a player, the new Malta national coach earned 20 caps for the Estonia national team, scoring four goals.

Mark Marlow, Malta FA Director of Futsal and Beach Soccer, said: "The appointment of Mr Palm as Beach Soccer National Team Head Coach reflects the FA's strategic commitment to developing beach soccer through experienced leadership, player development, and a clear long-term vision."

"His expertise and dedication will help strengthen the national team while driving the continued growth of the sport in line with the Malta FA's development strategy," he added.

In his first comments in the new role, Coach Palm stated: "I want to thank the Malta FA for the trust and opportunity to give me the responsibility of being the Head Coach of the Beach Soccer National Team of Malta."

"The support and passion shown by Director Mark Marlow has given me every confidence in the project. The vision of developing beach soccer in Malta on a wider scale aligns with my passion to make a bigger impact then just improving the level of the national team and its players," he continued.

Palm’s first matches in charge of our national squad will be the Euro Beach Soccer League Qualifiers taking place this week in Batumi, Georgia.

We wish Mr Palm, the players, and the entire contingent the very best of luck.
