Referee Joanna Vassallo takes charge of UEFA European WU17 Championship Qualifiers

Maltese official Joanna Vassallo recently took charge of a series of matches in the UEFA European WU17 Championship Qualifiers.

FIFA Referee Joanna Vassallo was selected to serve as an official in two matches from Group B of Round 2 of the Qualifiers, held in Albania in recent weeks.

She served as Fourth Official for the match between Albania and Andorra on 26th February 2026 at the House of Football Stadium in Tirana. She then served as Referee for the encounter between Israel and Albania on 4th March 2026, also at the House of Football Stadium.

Israel finished first in the group, with Andorra in second, and Albania in third. The group was played out from 25th February to 6th March 2026.
