NAC Quarter Finals and the IZIBET FA Trophy Preliminary Round Draws held 

The 2023/24 draws of the National Amateur Cup and the Preliminary Round of the IZIBET FA Trophy took place on Tuesday.

Żabbar St. Patrick who this season are playing in the BOV Challenge League are the current holders of the National Amateur Cup, whereas Birkirkara are the holders of the IZIBET FA trophy after their final victory over Marsaxlokk at the tail end of last season.

The Quarter Final list of the National Amateur Cup scheduled to be played in the first weekend of December, read as follows;-

The first act of the IZIBET FA Trophy for this season resulted in the Preliminary Round line-up of matches staged early on Tuesday.

The draw comprised all sixteen teams in the BOV Challenge League, the four Quarter Final winners of the National Amateur Cup, and 8 top tier teams in Gozo, whereas eight teams will progress automatically to the final 32 of competition without kicking a ball as bye.

The list of 10 matches shaping up the IZIBET FA Trophy Preliminary Round to be played between the 12^th and 14^th of December, read as follows:-  

The winners of these 10 Preliminary Round matches will join sides who were pitted bye, these are winners of Ta’ Xbiex v Marsascala (NAC QF), Xewkija Tigers, Luqa SA, winners of Mġarr United v Mqabba (NAC QF), Żabbar St. Patrick, Żurrieq, Għajnsielem, Attard.

Ten teams progressing from the Preliminary Round encounters, joined by the eight teams bye, will thereafter be joined by the 14 Premier League sides for the proper First Round of 32 in this season's IZIBET FA Trophy.
