Malta FA welcomes appointment of new Minister for Education and Sport

The Malta Football Association welcomes the appointment of Dr Byron Camilleri as Minister for Education and Sport. The Malta FA is confident that, under Dr Camilleri’s tutelage, sport in Malta will benefit from renewed investment and growth.

The Malta FA also expresses its sincere gratitude to Dr Clifton Grima for his invaluable assistance over the years and wishes him every success in his new appointment.

As always, the Malta FA urges cross party support and consensus on sport. In pursuit of this, it is confident that whoever is nominated by the Opposition to work on sport will collaborate constructively to provide continuity and stability for the sector.
