Malta FA staff take part in Boxing Day tournament

The Malta FA staff took part in the traditional Boxing Day football tournament earlier this morning at the Centenary Stadium in aid of L-istrina.

The team formed by the Malta FA staff ended up winning the tournament, with the shield being presented to outgoing General Secretary Dr Angelo Chetcuti.

The quadrangular tournament also featured teams representing the Malta Sports Journalists Association (MSJA), the Malta Football Referees Association (MFRA), as well as a team composed of Parliamentary Members (MP).

The participants of the event collected a total of €1,300 in aid of L-istrina, with the sum being presented later on Thursday to HE Myriam Spiteri Debono, who also found the time to stop by the tournament.

A huge congratulations to all of the participants for taking part and helping raise funds for a great cause.
