The sensation of competing against England and Italy is always unique. The same applies to viewing them from the audience. These two football heavyweights have previously faced Malta countless times, and each time, they drew sizable audiences to the stadium.
A special exhibition exclusively focusing on the games between Malta and these two teams is on display at the Malta FA museum. The memorabilia collection was assembled by Kenneth Formosa, an avid football enthusiast and Italian teacher by profession.
The collection includes artifacts and memorabilia from various matches Malta played over the years versus Italy and England. Newspaper clippings, matchday publications, and sporting goods are all part of it.
The special exhibition, which is a part of the Malta FA Football Museum, is open Monday through Friday (10.00-16.00) and will remain up until June 7th, 2023.
