Ludovico Micallef appointed Honorary Member of the Malta FA

Ludovico Micallef has been appointed Honorary Member of the Malta FA as his tenure as Vice-President, spanning 26 years, came to an end today.

Malta FA President Bjorn Vassallo paid tribute to Micallef, who has held their vice-president post for almost three decades in addition to his time as a member of the Malta FA Executive Committee and the Committee of Mosta F.C.

“I can’t thank him enough for the commitment and dedication he has always shown towards the clubs and members, and the Association where he worked with four different presidents,” Vassallo said. “He has always worked diligently and with a sense of loyalty.”

Micallef said: “Every president I’ve worked with, starting with Dr George Abela, Dr Joe Mifsud, Norman Darmanin Demajo and in recent years Bjorn Vassallo, have done their best to take the Association forward. I’d like to thank everyone I have had the privilege to work with during my long involvement in Maltese football.”
