Two Maltese officials were recently entrusted with officiating matches from the Qualifying Main Round of the 2026 UEFA European Futsal Championship and the Preliminary Round of the 2025 UEFA European Under-19 Futsal Championship.
Futsal FIFA Referee Stephen Vella officiated a match between North Macedonia and Portugal in Group 7 of the Qualifying Main Round of the 2026 UEFA European Futsal Championship.

The match took place in the Jane Sandanski Arena in Skopje, North Macedonia, and was played on 31st January 2025.
Vella served as Second Referee, with Yiangos Yiangou (CYP) serving as First Referee. They were joined by Michael Christofides (CYP) as Third Official.
Additionally, Futsal FIFA Referee Andrea Naudi was in charge of officiating three matches from Group C of the Preliminary Round of the 2025 UEFA European Under-19 Futsal Championship.
He served as Second Referee, together with First Referee Zviad Bliadze (GEO) and Third Official Turekhan Tursumbayev (KAZ) for the match between Gibraltar and Estonia, played at the Sillamäe Spordikompleks Kalev Big Hall in Sillamäe, Estonia, on 22nd January 2025.
Futsal FIFA Referee Andrea Naudi
Naudi was also Third Official for the match between North Macedonia and Gibraltar, played at the same venue on 23rd January 2025. For that match, Tursumbayev was First Referee and Bliadze was Second Referee.
He was also tasked with serving as Second Referee for the match between Estonia and North Macedonia at the same venue on 24th January 2025. Tursumbayev was First Referee for that game, with Bliadze as Third Official.
