Female Grassroots Leaders Course in August

Applications are now open for the first Female Grassroots Leaders Course that will take place between the 24th and 26th of August.

Applicants must be at least 16 years!

This course is the first step in the MFA Coach Education Pathway and is a basic introduction to youth football coaching aimed at persons who are currently coaching a grassroots team or looking to get into coaching.

It is designed to help the coach to create a safe, fun, and positive football environment during football sessions with the younger age groups (5- to 9-year-olds).

This is also the first female-only course organized by the Malta FA Technical Centre with the aim of having more licensed female coaches in Malta.

Tutors for this female-only course include professional coaches part of the Malta FA Technical Centre staff, Andrea Vella, Ivan Woods, Herman Bugeja, Charles Sciberras, and Women’s Football Director Pierre Brincat.
