The Malta FA Technical Centre's Coach Education Department is once again hosting CPD workshops and seminars to support and advance the coaching workforce throughout the Maltese islands, as it was revealed in the second edition of the publication "Raise the Game." The renewal of the various coaching licenses provided by UEFA and the Malta FA requires attendance in these sessions. The UEFA Coaching Convention states that coaches must participate in at least 15 hours of CPD over the course of three years in order to have their coaching license renewed.
There will be a minor adjustment to how these learning hours are accumulated as of this season. Rather than three football seasons, the new CPD system will be spread over three calendar years (January 2023 - December 2025).
