40 participate in another Grassroots Leaders Course

The Centenary Stadium, last Saturday, was bustling with activity as around 60 children from different nurseries joined together to help their coaches during the practical session of the Grassroots Leaders Course.  The practical session closes off the course and enables the coaches to put in practice what they learnt.  This course is the first step in the training of coaches. It is regularly organized by the Malta FA Technical Center of the mfa.

40 aspiring coaches participated in this edition.  The course is 20 hours long and aims to prepare the participants and give them basic coaching skills targeting players up to 9 years of age. 

The participants who completed this course successfully were given a certificate with which they can assist coaches in local football nurseries and eventually apply to enroll in the UEFA C course. 

Coaching Education is part of Goal 1 in the Malta FA Strategy as it aims to build from the bottom and sustain this work with all the resources at its disposal.
