UEFA Assist: Malta FA Women's Department collaborates with the Seychelles Football Federation

The Malta FA, through its Women’s Department, embarked on a project under the UEFA Assist Program to assist the Seychelles Football Federation promote the women’s game.  Through UEFA Assist, football confederations share knowledge and ideas.  Promoting and developing football has long been UEFA’s main objective and the Malta FA has shared its knowledge with the Federation of Seychelles.  Besides knowledge sharing and education, the Malta FA has shared its experience in the development of women football in the country.  More so the two countries have exchanged good practices as to how the Women’s department went about in engaging girls to enter into the world of football.  Through several meetings, the Malta FA has helped the Seychelles Football Federation create new programmes which will further enhance women’s football.  Furthermore an administrator from Seychelles has also visited the country to shadow the Women’s department in its daily tasks.
