National Amateur Cup draws held on Thursday

The National Amateur Cup Preliminary Round draws were held on Thursday with eight matches lined-up, three of them to be contested in Gozo after Gozitan sides were drawn at home. St. Laurence Spurs face Żabbar SP, a home tie in Gozo also for Munxar Falcons to cross swords with Mtarfa, whereas Żebbuġ Rovers take on Kalkara United. Other NAC Preliminary Round fixtures as indicated below :-Qormi v GħaxaqŻurrieq v SiġġiewiMarsascala v Xagħra UnitedBirżebbuġa SP v Mdina KnightsKirkop United v Attard Meanwhile, the Round of 16 matches have also been established with the winner of the tie between St. Laurence Spurs and Żabbar SP face the winner between Munxar Falcons and Mtarfa. The winner between Qormi and Għaxaq rub shoulders with the team victorious between Żurrieq and Siġġiewi, Marsascala or Xagħra United face Birżebbuġa SP or Mdina Knights, finally Żebbuġ Rovers or Kalkara United take on the winner of the match between Kirkop United and Attard. Avoiding Preliminary Round contest and therefore straight to the Round of Sixteen schedule of matches in this season's National Amateur Cup are 8 further teams drawn as follows :- Ta’ Xbiex v GħargħurMsida SJ v Xgħajra TornadoesMellieħa SC v Dingli SwallowsSanta Venera v Għarb Rangers
