Futsal Strategy recently announced up and running

As part of the Futsal Development strategy announced few days ago, a friendly match is being lined-up between the Malta U23 Selection and the U17 boys born 2005 who are part of the development squad. This friendly encounter will take place on Thursday 23rd December at the National Sport School in Pembroke, kick off @1630hrs. In total seventeen players have been selected in the U23 Selection squad to play in this friendly match against the U17 development squad. This contest is only the very beginning for the Malta FA Futsal Department in pursuing more young players as part of this Futsal Development Strategy, nurture them in their Futsal development thereby find them well prepared for the long term targets of the Malta Futsal Team. Meanwhile, Siġġiewi Futsal is most represented in this selection with a total of five players from total of seventeen. The entire Malta U23 selected for this friendly contest read as follows :- Goalkeepers – Ryan Scerri (University of Malta Futsal) 19, Omar Lamari (Mellieħa Futsal) 20, Zack Cocker (Ta’ Xbiex Futsal) 18, Zachary Farrugia (Siġġiewi Futsal) 20. Players – Dale Valletta (University of Malta Futsal) 22, Andrew Pace (University of Malta Futsal) 23, Nathan Cope (Luxol Futsal) 17, Josef Azzopardi (Naxxar Futsal) 17, Kurt Darmanin (Siġġiewi Futsal) 22, Ryan Muscat (Siġġiewi Futsal) 23, Justin Theuma (Siġġiewi Futsal) 23, Chervon Gatt (St.George’s Futsal) 21, Andrew Abela (Mellieħa Futsal) 23, Denim Parnis (Marsascala Futsal) 21, Matthias Camilleri (Marsascala Futsal) 20, Timothy Muscat (Siġġiewi Futsal) 23, Daniel Abdilla (Żurrieq Futsal) 22.
