Second win for Women's Team against Luxembourg

The Women's National team managed a second positive outcome against Luxembourg winning with a 3-2 score line this time away at the new Kaerjunger Dribbel Stadium in Bascaharage.   Dorianne Thuema opened the score in the 7th minute when she converted from the penalty spot and Ylenia Carabott scored in the 17th to make it two whilst Sophie Maurer reduced the deficit for Luxembourg to make it 1-2 at half time. With three minutes in the second half Malta were again awarded a penalty which Dorianne Thuema calmly scored to restore the two goal margin.
