Malta's Under 21 side were beaten 2-1 by Sweden in their third home qualifier from the UEFA Under 21 Championships. Right from the start it looked like Sweden were here to bag maximum points from this match, and in fact they immediately took the initiative. Malta however opened the scoring in the 10th minute. Ryan Scicluna grabbed the opportunity after a misunderstand between the two Swedish central defenders.. The Swede's persistent attacking play gave result in the 28th minute when they equalised amidst uncertainty in the Malta defence from a corner coming in from the right.  A. Milosevic was the scorer. Sweden's supremacy continued for the rest of the half and the start of the second. The visitors finally managed to forge ahead in the 70th minute from a very well taken direct freekick by John Guidetti. Malta were unlucky not to level the match in the 75th minute when Jean Paul Farrugia rattled the crossbar from a central freekick from just outside the penalty area. From then on it was touch and go from both sides and each created a couple of opportunities. 2-1 for Sweden it finished. Full Match Report; QUALIFICATION MATCH GROUP 7       MALTA VS SWEDEN      NATIONAL STADIUM   Kick Off: 14.30hrs - 5 March 2014  12Yurgen Borg (GK)1August Stromberg (GK)2Cain Attard2Mattias Johansson3Christian Grech3AlexandrMilosevic(C)–Gl 29mY10Steve Pisani4Filip Helander16Clyde Borg (Capt)5Ludwig Augustinsson17Jurgen Pisani6Viktor Claesson18Louis John Cutajar7Oscar Lewicki20Ryan Camenzuli8Andreas Blomqvist21Ryan Scicluna – Goal 9min9Robin Quasin22Daniel Zerafa (Y)10John Guidetti (Y) – Goal 69min23Jean Paul Farrugia (Y)11Mikael Ishak SUBSTITUTES SUBSTITUTES1Matthew Calleja Cremona12Patrik Carlgrem4Keith Tanti13Oliver Silverholt5Brooke Farrugia14Sebastian Holmen7Lydon Micallef (Y)15Niklas Barkroth9Ryan Micallef16Simon Kroom13Sacha Borg17Kristoffer Olsson14Shaun Gauci18Christoffer NymamCaptain: Clyde Borg (16)                               Captain: Alexander Milosevic (3) Coach: RAYMOND FARRUGIACoach: HAKAN ERICSONAss.Coach: RONALD VELLAAss.Coach: ANDREAS PETTERSONDoctor: STEPHEN ZAMMITDoctor: FREDRIK BERGSTROMPHYSIOTHERAPIST: SIMON CILIAPHYSIOTHERAPIST: NIKLAS VALLHEMGK COACH: SIMON AGIUSPHYSIOTHERAPIST:THOMAS LINDHOLMTEAM MANAGER: RODNEY PISANIGK COACH: LEIF TROEDSSON                                                OUTINMIN OUTINMIN1107661916582179762817713   3111875 Referee:          Mr. Enea Jorgji (FIFA & Albania FA)Ass.Referee 1: Mr. Denis rexha (Albania FA)Ass.Referee 2: Mr. Egin Doda (Albania FA)4th Official:     Mr. Andi Koci (Albania FA)UEFA Delegate: Mr. Pavel Kolev (Bulgaria)                UEFA Ref Observer: Mr John Fleming (Scotland)
