MALTA U17s BEAT SAN MARINO U19s IN CAPUT MUNDI T'MENT

In their last match of the Roma Caput Mundi T'ment, Mlata's Under 17 team led by coach Sergio Soldano beat San Marino's Under 19 selection by three goals to one. Malta soon gained the upperhand and opened the scoring after 7 minutes of play, through J. Mbong. Though San Marino managed an equaliser after four minutes, the boys in red dictated play and it was no surprise that they regained the lead on the 15 minute mark through Conner Borg. Malta remained the better of the two sides but failed to add to their goals tally despite creating a number of other chances. The scoreline remained at 2-1 until half time. At the resumption of play, Soldano's team continued to dominate and added a third goal through Joseph Mbong on 56 minutes.
