At a pre-match Press Conference held today, Women's national team coach Pierre Brincat thanked the Ghaqda Gurnalisti Sportivi for the nominations that local women's football recieved in the  "U*BET Ghazliet Sportivi Nazzjonali 2013"  Regarding Serbia Brincat added that although they are unpredictable, having drawn the best team of the group; Denmark, then losing against Swizerland 9-0 and against Israel 3-1, they are technically a strong team. We are always the underdogs and we have young players in our squad; like Brenda Borg, Martina Borg (who has been included for the first time) & Amber Grech, with the experience of our veterans such as Rebecca D'Agostino who is anexemplary captain. Our aim for the for these Elite Qualifiers is to at least score a goal and get at least 1 point. Team captain Rebecca D'Agostino commented "Under the guidance of our coach we have prepared well, both tacticly & mentally. We have a balanced team witha combination of experienced and young players and we might just be able to put up a surprise against a Serbian team who does not always look disciplined on the pitch" At the end of the Press Conference Coach P.
