Malta's Under 17 beaten by Austria in first of two friendly matches

Malta's Under 17 side under the guidance of Sergio Soldano were beaten by three goals to one by Austria, in the first of two friendly matches. The local side took the lead through Jake Grech on the 15 minute mark, but the Austrians managed to turn the game around by the end of the first half, which ended 2-1 in their favour. The second encounter will be played on Thursday 13th June at the Centenary Stadium  -  Kick-off 19.00hrs.     International Friendly Under 17 Match   Malta  vs. Austria  FT 1-3 (HT 1-2)   Scorers:J.
