Adressing the pre-match Press Conference this morning, national team coach Pietro Ghedin said thatis pleased about the preparation even though the match comes at the end of a very long season for the players.   "We have prepared well for this game. We played well in our last qualifier against Italy but this is another game. Armenia are no easy opponents. They have a very good team and all their players are young but strong." Referring to Andrei Agius, Andrew Hogg, Ryan Fenech and Daniel Bogdanovic.Ghedin went on to say "I'm sorry for the players who are not with us but I also have faith in the other players. They can also do a good job for us." "We are not tourists. We are here to play an important game. This is not our last possibility to gain a point as we have another four matches after this. Butwill give our heart on the pitch and if we manage to get a point, we will be happy." Justin Haber, also a finalist for the MFA Footballer of the Year award which will be awarded next week on Sunday, insisted that the players are always motivated to play well for their country. "When you play for your country, you always want to do well, I'm proud to be Maltese and so are the other players. We are here because we are the best in our country and we want to show that. The motivation to do well is always there, whether it's a game against Italy, Germany or Armenia." After the press conference the Maltese national team had its last official training session at the Republican Stadium which has a capacity of 14,000 fans whereit is expected that ten thousand will turn up for this qualifier tomorrow. The match will be played tomorrow and kicks off at 6pm (Malta time) and will be shown live on TVM 2.
