Hibernians F.C. secured their 10th F.A. Trophy win with a 3-1 victory over Qormi F.C.
Two second half goals by Edson Louis dos Santos and a third by Jacksom Lima Sigueira saw Michael Woods' team annihiliate the yellows who figured in their third final defeat in four years. Qormi managed to contain the Hibs pressure throughout the first half but Effiong's injury and the sending off of Matthew Gauci in the second half were too big a loss for them to keep up with the Paolites' tempo. Zarate got Qormi's late consolation goal. At the end of the match MFA President, Norman Darmanin Demajo and Maltco C.E.O., Dr. John Katakis, presented the medals and trophies to the match officials, finalists and winners.
