Four goals in the second half helped the Malta U19 girls register the second win against Cyprus.  Although the Maltese distinguished themselves from the start, they had to wait until the second half to find the net. Schembri's side were dominant from the start and created various opportunities with the best one coming ten minutes from the half-time whistle, when a Kailey Willis shot was blocked by the goalkeeper and from the rebound Veronique Mifsud saw her shot cleared off the goal line, before Emma Ciantar’s shot was deflected to a corner. The girls were more determined in the second half, breaking the deadlock in the 57 minute. Emma Ciantar’s shot was partially saved by the Cyprus goalkeeper who accidently dropped the ball into the net. Ten minutes later, the Cyprus goalkeeper was beaten again by a wonderful shot into the top corner by Maya Lucia. The third goal came on the 75th minute, when Veronique Mifsud headed in behind the goalkeeper after receiving a cross from Maya Lucia. Nine minutes from the final whistle, Maya Lucia scored her second - a wonderful goal into the top corner.  CYPRUSAntria Savva (Andriana Mila 46’); Andria Efstratiou (Fotini Sergide 60’), Aristi Prodromou Maria Zamani (Stella Papaneofytou 76’), Lelia Rolandi (Despoina Petrou 76’), Kristia Kouppi ©, Marilla Konstantinou (Christina Kyriakidi 46’), Anna Sofocleous (Veronika Pasioulli 76’), Georgia Terla, Athina Kolias (Domna Stylianou 46’), Christina Konstantinidou (Eirini Morou 60’).Coach Savvas Sofocieous MALTARaisa Costantino; Tammy Falzon (Georgiana Mifsud 78’), Eunice Micallef, Ileana Farrugia (Michaela Cachia 60’), Maya Lucia, Martina Fenech (Rhea Borg 74’), Veronique Mifsud ©, Mariah Cardona, Kailey Willis (Yulya Carella 60’), Leah Ayres (Sarah Vella Barberi, 60’), Emma Ciantar (Sabrin Blihi 74’).Coach Frank Schembri Scorers: Emma Ciantar 57’, Maya Lucia 67’ 81’, Veronique Mifsud 75Referee: IOANNA ALLAYIOTOU (CYP)
