Apart from plenty of drama, Match Day 3 of the BOV Premier Division also contained a number of interesting facts and figures. We put the most important ones for you into another statistical overview.  1 – Former Birkirkara midfielder, Roderick Briffa, became the first player to appear for two teams this season. He made his debut in Mosta’s 2-1 defeat against Hamrun Spartans.  20 – Argentinian forward Federico Falcone’s opening goal in a 2-1 victory against Balzan, was his 20th for Birkirkara, 10 goals in each period.   25 – Jefferson de Assis’ goal against Sliema Wanderers was his 25th in the Premier Division for the Gzira United Brazilian forward 30 – Hibernians' attacking midfielder Jake Grech marked his 30th goal for the Paolites in a 3-1 win over Sirens, against in total 15 teams. 30 – Santa Lucia and Gudja United, as well as Balzan and Birkirkara, met each other for the 30th time in history in an official match 40 – Alan da Silva Souza’s brace for Sta Lucia in their 2-2 draw against Gudja United was the 40th under the control of referee Trustin Farrugia Cann.  100 – Emmanuel Mbong became the 100th substitute of the season. He replaced Maxuell Maia Da Silva in Gzira United 1-1 draw against Sliema Wanderers. 100 – Defender Ryan Camenzuli’s third goal for Floriana in their 3-1 victory over Valletta, was the 100th Yenz Cini conceded in the top division.  100 – Midfielder Neil Frendo became the 100th Maltese player introduced this season. He was used as a substitute in Balzan’s 2-1 defeat against Birkirkara when he replaced Samir Arab in the 86th minute.  200 – Austrian central defender, Mehdi Hetemaj, became the 200th player to play in this season’s Premier League. He is one of six foreign players who have been handed first-team debuts for Mosta this season. 750 – Alan da Silva Souza’s brace against Gudja United was the 9th for Sta Lucia in the top flight. The first one dates back to 23th August, 2019, exactly 750 days ago. That brace was netted by Wilkerson Gomes and, coincedently,  the match official was also Trustin Farrugia Cann.
