Rain wreaks havoc on BOV Women's First Division matches

Only one of the four BOV Women's First Division matches in programme on Tuesday was played as the rain which hit the Maltese islands wreaked havoc. Champions Birkirkara defeated Gozo 2-0 in the only game which was played. Mosta vs Hibernians was abandoned after fifteen minutes while Pembroke Athleta vs Mgarr United and Hamrun Spartans vs Tarxien Rainbows were called off.
