Jean Paul Farrugia voted best player for November

Sliema Wanderers forward Jean Paul Farrugia is the BOV Player of the Month for November 2020. The 28-year-old is enjoying a very positive season with the Blues who have been among the pace-setters in the BOV Premier League so far. During November, Farrugia scored a brace in Sliema’s 3-1 victory over Balzan. The Malta forward scored another two goals during November, an 80th-minute header in Sliema’s 3-2 defeat to neighbours Gżira United and a penalty in their 4-1 victory against Lija Athletic. Bernard Azzopardi, Manager of Bank of Valletta’s Sliema Branch, presented the BOV Player of the Month trophy for November 2020 to Farrugia in the presence of Dr Matthew Paris, Vice-President of the Malta Football Association, before Wednesday’s Premier League match against Mosta. The player selected the Ursuline Sisters’ Creche to benefit from the donation associated with this award.
