50 – Maxuell Maia da Silva sealed Sirens’ 3-0 win over Gudja United. It was the 50th goal scored by Brazilian players this season. 100 – In the 4-1 victory against Senglea Athletic, Santa Lucia defender Timothy Tabone Desira made his 100th appearance in the Premier League. The 25-year-old, on loan from Hibernians, also had a season-long loan spell with Tarxien Rainbows in the past (2015/16). He made 68 of these 100 appearances in the colours of Hibernians, 21 for Tarxien and 11 for Santa Lucia. 100 – In the same match, Firas Aboulezz’s substitute appearance was his 100th in the BOV Premier League as well. The 34-year-old made 94 top-flight appearances for Mosta, Balzan, Tarxien Rainbows and Floriana between 2011 and 2016 before adding six more appearances this season for Senglea Athletic. 120 – Valletta’s 2-1 win over Żejtun Corinthians was Malcolm Spiteri’s 120th match in the top division. The match official made his debut on 27th August, 2011 in Floriana’s 2-1 victory against Tarxien Rainbows. 150 – Wilfried Domoraud’s converted penalty in Sirens’ 3-0 victory over Gudja United was the 150th goal at the Centenary Stadium this season. In the same match, the French striker notched a brace – his second in the top flight. The other was registered on 13th September, 2019, in Ħamrun Spartans’ victory Tarxien Rainbows (3-2) in which he also scored from the penalty spot. 300 – In Birkirkara’s 1-0 win against Hibernians, Paul Mbong became the 16th substitute for the Stripes this season in which between them played a total of 300 minutes. Apart from that, the total minutes played by the Maltese substitutes was 7,550.300 – In the match against Naxxar Lions on Sunday, Vittoriosa Stars striker Kenneth Abela made his 300th league appearance in the second tier of Maltese football (BOV Challenge League). The 45-year-old, who made his first senior appearance during season 1991/92 with Hibernians, has played for several clubs in this division: Gżira United, St George’s, Marsaxlokk, Qormi, Senglea Athletic, St Patrick, Vittoriosa Stars, Żejtun Corinthians and Qrendi. He is the first ever player in history to appear in 300 matches at this level. On Monday, Abela joined St George’s. 330 – Rowen Muscat’s stoppage-time strike was the decisive goal in Valletta’s 2-1 victory against Żejtun Corinthians. The Lilywhites’ midfielder netted for the first time in 330 days – the last time he found the net was on 20th January, 2020, against Sliema Wanderers.
