The Coach Education Department within the Malta FA Technical Centre is currently organising the second edition of the Course for Coach Educators in line with UEFA’s Coaching Convention 2020.  Setting high coach education standards to improve the quality of coach education in all UEFA member associations, with the aim of developing better coaches and, ultimately, better players and the overall quality of the game is the vision statement of the UEFA Coaching Convention. The Malta FA Course for Coach Educators, which commenced earlier this month, is divided into three phases: the induction part, the application part and the practical part. Together with the other coach educators who have completed the first course, the successful candidates will be able to conduct theoretical and practical sessions during the UEFA and MFA-licensed courses, and continuous professional development sessions. The course, spread over 80 hours, will serve to further enhance the standards of coach education, in the process enhancing the quality of training and guidance offered to coaches.
