Malta to play efriendly match against Azerbaijan

Malta is playing a friendly match against Azerbaijan after all but online! The efootball national teams of Malta and Azerbaijan will face each other in a series of matches on Konami’s PES 2020 on Monday, 30th March, 2020, the same day when these two nations were due to meet at the National Stadium only for the friendly to be called off due to the current COVID-19 crisis. Malta and Azerbaijan will play three 1v1 matches followed by a 3v3 game. Gianluca Sant and Christian Spiteri, who are representing Malta in the eEURO2020 qualifiers, will be joined by guest player Kurt Fenech for the efriendly matches against Azerbaijan this coming Monday. The live stream is due to start at 14.00hrs. Also on Monday evening (17.00hrs), Sant and Spiteri will be involved in the second round of the eEURO2020 Group I qualifiers. The Maltese duo are fourth in Group I with four points. The other teams in Group I are the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, San Marino and Ireland.
