Malta arrive in Torshavn ahead of Faroe Islands’ qualifier

The Malta squad arrived in Faroe Islands on Sunday afternoon with the chartered Air Malta flight touching down at Vagar Airport just after 5 p.m. (Malta time). Malta coach Ray Farrugia has brought a squad of 23 players to Torshavn ahead of Tuesday’s EURO 2020 Group F qualifier against Faroe Islands at Torsvollur. The squad will have their official training session on Monday evening, starting at 6.30pm (Malta time) while Faroe Islands are due to train at Torsvollur in the morning. Malta have three points in Group F going into Tuesday’s encounter after beating the Faroe Islands 2-1 in the opening Group F qualifier on March 23.
