Birkirkara will launch the defence of their BOV Women’s League title against traditional rivals Hibernians.

The draw of the fixture sequence of the 2019/20 BOV Women’s League was held on Monday afternoon at the Malta FA offices.


Mġarr United, runners-up last season, kick off against Kirkop United while Swieqi United meet Raiders Għargħur in the opening programme.


Mosta start their 2019/20 commitments against Mġarr United on the second day.


The senior women’s league will be played over three rounds, commencing on October 8.


The Super Cup match between Birkirkara and Mġarr United is scheduled to take place in December.




Eight teams have entered the 2019/20 Women’s U-19 League, won by Hibernians last season. This championship will be played over two rounds.


The opening programme, starting on September 29, is as follows:
Raiders Għargħur vs Swieqi United
Mtarfa vs Mġarr United
Mosta vs Kirkop United
Birkirkara vs Hibernians




The first Women’s Under-15 League will see the participation of nine teams who will be playing each other over two rounds.


The matches on the opening weekend of this championship, kicking off on October 12, are:

Żebbuġ Rangers vs Raiders Għargħur
Mtarfa vs Senglea Athletic
Mġarr United vs Swieqi United
Kirkop United vs Birkirkara


Mosta start their U15 league campaign on the second day.
