Public information for BOV Premier League title decider

The Malta Football Association, in collaboration with the Police and the clubs, would like to communicate the following traffic and crowd management arrangements for the BOV Premier League championship decider between Valletta and Hibernians at the National Stadium on Saturday (04/05/2019).  NATIONAL STADIUM16.30 – VALLETTA vs HIBERNIANS • The gates open at 14.00 (2 p.m.) and the stand allocations for the Valletta-Hibernians title decider are as follows:  Hibernians– West A and North StandValletta – West C and Millennium DNeutral fans – Millennium F • Pre-sale of tickets for the Millennium D sector (Valletta) and North Stand (Hibernians) is being conducted by the clubs. Tickets for the West A and West C sectors have sold out. • Fans are encouraged to purchase match tickets in advance wherever possible and make their way to the National Stadium early on matchday. • There will be no sale of tickets for the Millennium E sector (Trophies Lounge). • The Millennium F sector is reserved for neutral supporters. Fans wearing shirts or any club-branded apparel of local teams will not be allowed to enter this sector. Tickets for the Neutral Stand (Millennium F) can be purchased in advance online from the Malta FA website – http://www.mfa.com.mt – and  the following locations:Malta Football Association Reception – Level 2, Millennium StandGozo FA OfficesLion King Stationers – Gwardamangia• Ticket sales for the Millennium D sector and North Stand will also be available online and from the above-mentioned outlets, commencing on Friday at noon (03/05/2019). • Hibernians supporters and neutral fans are to park their vehicles in the West Stand car park (enclosure) and the adjacent road leading to Durumblat Street. They are also advised to make their way to the National Stadium from the Mosta area (Durumblat) – see traffic route map. • Valletta fans are to park their vehicles in the Millennium Stand area. They are advised to pass through Marsa, heading towards Mrieħel and Attard in the direction of St Catherine’s Home in Pitkali Road and on to the BOV Adventure Park and the MFCC/Millennium Stand zone – see traffic route map. • Coaches carrying Valletta fans have allocated parking behind the South Stand, facing the MFA Gym so as to exit from the Żebbuġ area. • Coaches carrying Hibernians supporters have allocated parking behind the North Stand, facing the Malta FA Training Grounds. • The road leading from the Mtarfa roundabout near the Military Cemetery to the Basketball Complex and Millennium Stand will be closed for inbound traffic. Valletta fans can park their vehicles along this road which will be open for outbound traffic at the end of the match. • At the end of the match at the National Stadium, the spectators seated in the West C sector are to exit the stadium from the Millennium D gate. • The Malta FA urges the general public to follow the instructions given by the stadium staff, security personnel and police officers on matchday.
