Malta FA to organise second UEFA PRO Coaching Course

The Malta Football Association is pleased to announce that it will be organising another UEFA PRO Coaching Course, the highest coaching certificate available in European football.  This will be the second UEFA PRO Coaching Course co-ordinated by the Malta FA Technical Centre after 19 coaches completed the first 18-month course in 2016-17. “After the successful conclusion of the first ever Malta FA/UEFA PRO Coaching Course in 2017, we are very pleased that UEFA have given us the go-ahead to organise this high-level course for a second time,” Stephen Grima, the Malta FA Director of Coach Education, said. “The second UEFA PRO Coaching Course, to be held between September 2019 and April 2021, is in line with the Malta FA Technical Centre’s commitment to provide our coaches with continuous opportunities to improve their coaching standards, also for the benefit of Maltese football in general.” The UEFA PRO Coaching Course comprises 12 modules ranging from three to seven days per module. The first module is due to commence on 7th September, 2019.  The course, to be conducted in both Maltese and English, will have a minimum duration of 450 hours, including assessments, study visits, theoretical and practical sessions.  On successful completion of the course, candidates will receive the Malta FA/UEFA Pro Licence Diploma. Closing date for applications is 26th April, 2019 at noon.  CLICK HERE for more details on the application criteria for the 2019/21 Malta FA/UEFA PRO Coaching Course. Assessment criteria for 2019-21 UEFA PRO
