During a Press Conference held in Vaduz this morning, national team coach Pietro Ghedinsaid "it is an important match for us and i think its also for Liechtenstein to measure the progress made. We hope it will be played with a fair play mentality".   Questioned about Michael Mifsud. Ghedin said "yes we miss our player Michael Mifsud due to a groin injury and thus he did not come here. We have the chance to see a debutant Terence Vella who is an ex U21player. Mifsud is an important player who scored 36 goals for Malta whilst this young player has scored eight goals with for our U21s in the campaign which has just finished. He is interesting but he needs to mature in his game, he is young and he has time to learn. This is a good occasion to try some stuff with maximum respect to Liechtenstein.""I am never tranquil before a match, we are concentrated like any other match and in football it has to be that way all the time"stated Ghedin when asked about tomorrow’s matchAbout any changes since his taking over last February Ghedin added "let's say that the group is nearly the same, I have been inserting some of my ideas but it is not as if we can change a lot in such a short period""we need more players playing abroad, playing professionally. its not the same for Liechtenstein who is connected to Switzerland, Austria, italy, France, belgium""we need to continue building on our style of play, and obviously looking to get a result but when you are on the field of play its clear you can win or lose or draw but it is clear you need to do your best to get a result"
