Malta FA saddened by death of Tony Coleiro

The Malta Football Association is saddened by the news that Tony Coleiro passed away on Wednesday. Coleiro was a respected football masseur, working for several Maltese clubs and also the national team back in the seventies. The list of clubs Coleiro was associated with during his long career includes Floriana, Ħamrun Spartans, Hibernians, Valletta and Luqa St Andrews, his hometown club where he was also a committee member. The Maltese football community is also mourning the death of Tony Mangion, a former international referee in the seventies, who passed away earlier this week, aged 82. The Malta FA sends its profound condolences to the families of Coleiro and Mangion during this difficult time.
