Identity Malta outreach service to resume in August

The outreach service provided by Identity Malta to facilitate the application process for work permits by non-EU players will resume during the August transfer window. Launched in January of last year, this service sees Identity Malta staff visit the Malta FA offices at least once a week during the two transfer windows (January and August) to process work-permit applications. Commencing on Friday, 3rd August, Identity Malta personnel will be offering this service at the Malta FA offices on seven different dates – between 9.30am and 1pm – during August. The dates are the following: • Friday, 3rd August • Friday, 10th August • Tuesday, 14th August • Friday, 17th August • Friday, 24th August • Tuesday, 28th August • Friday 31st August The player applying for a work permit must be accompanied by the club official who in turn must submit the required documentation when making use of the Identity Malta service. The registration fee is €35 with the Malta FA covering the remaining costs related to this outreach service which has been very well received by local clubs.
