Three months on from the launch of Take A Seat – http://www.takeaseat.org.mt/, more and more football fans are registering on this interactive website. Some interesting statistics have emerged during the first three months of Take A Seat. Which are the most popular national teams among the current members of Take A Seat? It’s pleasing to note that the majority of the Take A Seat subscribers indicated Malta as their favourite national team. No prizes for guessing who comes next... England and Italy. What about local clubs? Valletta FC top the chart followed by Hibernians FC and Birkirkara FC. Of the foreign teams, Manchester United have the best following among Take A Seat members. Italian champions Juventus are second ahead of Liverpool. Mosta is the locality with the highest total of Take A Seat members followed by Birkirkara and Naxxar. Take a Seat is most popular with people aged between 21 and 40 years. WHAT IS TAKE A SEAT? Take A Seat is no ordinary football website. It’s your one-stop shop for news and updates about your favourite clubs, including live scores, fixtures, results, and much more. How does it work? Our concept presents a Virtual Stadium to audiences with an invitation to ‘Take a Seat’.  Just enter your name and a few other details to secure your seat and set the ball rolling. And the good news is that it is free.  CHOOSE WHERE TO SIT You can choose where to sit and who you want to be with in order to share your experiences with friends and fellow fans who support the same local, foreign and team as you.  Take A Seat is designed to give you an experience that reflects real football from where the supporter sits. You can engage with your friends by joining or creating your own community group, comment and chat. Not only that.  You will also gain Football For Life points through your activity on Take A Seat and, in so doing, contribute towards the Malta FA’s Football Social Responsibility initiatives with the backing of our sponsors.
