Draws of the initial rounds of 2017/18 FA Trophy on Monday

Preparations for the 2017/18 football season are now in full swing. The FA Trophy competition kicks off on September 2/3 with five matches from the Preliminary Round followed by the First Round ties, from September 8-10, and the Second Round fixtures from October 20-22. A total of 64 clubs will be taking part in the 2017/18 FA Trophy which has already received a boost as the Malta Football Association has finalised a new sponsorship deal for the Knock-Out competition. With just over three weeks to go for the start of the FA Trophy, won by Floriana FC last season, it’s time to set the ball rolling with the announcement of the competition’s new sponsor and the draws of the initial three rounds of the competition being held on Monday. The event will be held at the new Trophies Lounge on Level 2 of the Millennium Stand, commencing at 10.30 a.m.
