Birkirkara girls ease past Gozo to celebrate title in style

Birkirkara FC celebrated their BOV Division One title success with an 8-0 victory over Gozo in their final match.The Stripes, who had secured their eighth championship a few weeks ago, had Kelly Agius Pace scoring five goals in today's one-sided game at the Kerċem Stadium.At the end of the match, Malta FA President Norman Darmanin Demajo presented the winners' trophy to the Birkirkara FC players.The women's BOV Division Two championship has been won by Swieqi United.In their final match, Swieqi United beat Tarxien Rainbows 2-1 and finished 12 points ahead of Mosta.
