Joe Carbonaro who guides Hamrun Spartans from the touchline and Swieqi United coaching duo Jochen Lenders and Max Bartolo shared their thoughts prior this mouth-watering contest with our page.  Hamrun Spartans:Asked about the challenge that Swieqi United will offer them tonight, coach Carbonaro stressed their opponents’ potential by saying that despite their short history in women’s football, they were already title challengers last season and he expects them to be challenging once again this year. However, he also highlighted how his players are motivated not only for this fixture but also for the entire league. Being aware that there is a promotion to the highest division at stake, his players are showing huge enthusiasm which makes them a stronger side than last year. Swieqi United:Jochen Lenders and Max Bartolo are indicating this match as the best test their girls can have at this stage of the season. ‘’We worked hard over the last few weeks to further improve our level and we are both prepared and excited to face the Spartans, a team who always gives us a good run for our money’’.
