A new initiative for Primary Schools P.E. Teachers

The Malta Football Association in collaboration with the Directorate for Quality and Standards in Education (DQSE) and the Secretariat for Catholic Education have for the beginning of this scholastic year organised a seminar to support PE teachers in improving the local football game at school level.  This marks an important occasion for the MFA, which had the opportunity to share its vision and to illustrate how this can be implemented in practice.  This seminar involved practical, theoretical and discussion sessions in a workshop setting. The response from the PE teachers was very positive and the MFA Technical Centre’s Coach Education and Grassroots Departments express their satisfaction in the turnout and interest shown by all involved and look forward to extending this cooperation further.  The MFA would like to thank the Directorate for Quality and Standards and the Secretariat for Catholic Education for their invaluable cooperation and is looking forward to organising similar seminars on an annual basis as a permanent investment to induce growth in grassroots football.
