Under 17's: Malta lose 3-0 to Atalanta

The Malta Under 17 National Team lost the third match of the tournament that was played in Pinerolo, Italy against Atalanta with a 3-0 final score line.   Although our boys shared the run of play with their opponents, Atalanta were more direct and determined in their play. They ran clear winners of this encounter and made it to the final of the tournament whilst we have to play for the 3rd & 4th place against Vicenza, losers to Debregen the Hungarian team. We conceded two soft goals in the 12’ & 27’ after having gone behind in the 9’. This was practically the whole story of the game in which we were a far cry from the team that made it to the Semi Finals yesterday. Formation:1. Lydon Moore (Rashed Al Tuni 38), 2.
