 With reference to reports on local and international media regarding the alleged involvement of Maltese nationals in a possible international match-fixing ring, the Malta Football Association would like to inform the general public that it is currently monitoring the situation and collecting all necessary facts that may help the MFA put more light on this matter. The MFA acknowledges that this matter is presently being handled by the police authorities and until further information is available the MFA will exercise prudence in the handling of this case. The MFA will inform the general public of any steps it may take on this situation when all facts are clear and official documentation is received by the Association.   MFA Administration21st May 2015
