On Tuesday 17th February 2015  the Technical Centre, through its Coach Education Department, launched its first ever IT in Football course. A strong team of 24 participants all qualified coaches from UEFA Pro to National C,  hailing from all sections of our National leagues including the nurseries are attending this course which has the aim to prepare the coach for the modern game both technically and technologically.  In his introductory speech the Technical Director, Mr. Robert Gatt emphasised the great  zeal being shown by the Technical Centre to have coaches prepared in every aspect of the modern game and this course is another initiative in the right direction. The aim of this short course is to encourage coaches to make use of IT.  Our players are very computer literate so coaches should make good use of this powerful tool. The course targets also Match Analysis programs which help the coach prepare well and evaluate better his coaching attitudes and methods. At the end of the course all participants will be presented with a certificate and a synergy of good practice to diffuse into their clubs.
