Melita were declared champions of the BOV First Division after defeating Rabat Ajax 1-0 in a decisive match at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Saturday.
Julian Galea scored the all-important goal for the Amateurs. Melita and Rabat Ajax were promoted to the Premier League.
