The Malta Women National Team will be playing their last away match on 13th September 2014 in Bellund, Denmark and the final home game against the very strong group winners Switzerland at the Victor Tedesco Stadium, in Hamrun on September 17th at 17.00pm. Although our senior team will be heavily depleted due to the fact not less than eight players of the squad will be in Bosnia with the under 19  National Team Group at the same time, they will be giving all they’ve got to get a respectable result against both giants in Women football.  Malta Under 19 Women team - Bosnia qualifying tournament Meanwhile, a very young but reasonably talented Maltese girls team will be participating for the second time in the Uefa Qualifying Tournament in Bosnia. The team made up mostly from last year’s squad participation in Serbia, with a fear and a few participation games that gave some more experience, will be travelling to Sarajevo on the 11th of September, the same day the senior team will be travelling to Denmark. They will be playing against the strong Czech Republic, Romania and home team Bosnia hoping to spring some little surprise to these more quoted teams keeping in mind that last year they were only narrowly beaten by the older Dutch team that won the cup last month.
